Please allow me to introduce myself and involve you in my vision of the extreme world of polo. My name is Dale Schwetz and I have been a professional polo player for 30 years. During my 30 years of being a part of the amazing world of polo, I lived, loved and push my ability to the highest level of one the most exciting high-energy games alive. I have worked and played with the top pros and have achieved the highest ranking as a professional umpire,so you could say the game is in my blood.
My focus is to promote the game of polo and extreme players and horses that make the game an obsession. All of my ideas and visions come from true experience. The average sports fan does not realize how intense the sport of polo is, they don't know the field is nine football fields and the ball can travel 150 yards at 120 miles per hour. They've never experience such an extreme adrenalin rush as the one that comes from riding a thousand pound animal 45 miles an hour, hitting a ball the size of a baseball with a mallet. My goal is to introduce and guide sports fans to the exciting world of polo. I have tested my ideas and skills throughout my travels playing, umpiring and representing the game of polo.
